The KYC Technology Team at Binance is dedicated to developing an advanced platform aimed at delivering a seamless onboarding experience for our customers. The team's primary focus is on building a high-scale KYC platform, introducing innovative products, and integrating compliance vendors on both regional and global levels. Upholding stringent adherence to global and local regulatory standards, the team places a strong emphasis on the ethical use of AI/ML technologies. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to translate business requirements into well-tested services with robust code.
• Proactively engage in performance tuning activities, troubleshooting incidents, and more.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation.
• Develop high-quality code that aligns with best practices and promotes engineering excellence.
• Work closely with other engineering teams and provide mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Have at least 7 years of professional experience in constructing high-throughput distributed applications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in core Java, the Spring Framework, MySQL, and familiarity with at least one NoSQL database.
• Exhibit expertise in distributed system design, along with knowledge of at least one messaging middleware and its design principles.
• Display adaptability, quick learning abilities, and perform effectively under pressure.
• Capable of collaborating effectively with a remote team spanning different time zones.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in performance tuning related to JVM, SQL, RPC, etc.
• Previous experience in KYC or Compliance is an added advantage.
