Senior/ Lead Blockchain Protocol Engineer

We are seeking a creative and dedicated team member to contribute to the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of software for innovative venture projects. These projects are closely aligned with our core businesses and require efficient execution with a small team. Your primary role will involve actively participating in designing scalable applications, spanning from frontend UI to backend infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development activities, propose architectural decisions, engage in design processes, conduct design reviews, code reviews, and implement solutions for complex problems within the blockchain protocol.
• Assess and resolve challenging issues across the blockchain protocol.
• Collaborate closely with operations and infrastructure teams to develop high-scale backend services.
• Efficiently document all code and functionalities implemented.
• Work in conjunction with DevOps and ecosystem engineers to enhance the technical stack for long-term engineering projects.

• At least 5 years of engineering experience, preferably with strong backend development skills (e.g. Go, Rust).
• Hands-on experience with basic cryptographic concepts (e.g. BouncyCastle in Java) and understanding of distributed systems and consensus algorithms, such as Raft or PBFT.
• Familiarity with Go or Rust is desirable.
• Prior experience with blockchain system internals is advantageous but not mandatory.

Bonus Skills

• Contribution to open-source blockchain projects.
• Research experience in blockchain and/or cryptography fields.
• Proficiency in Cosmos SDK or Ethereum core development.
• Expertise in Golang or Rust programming languages.
