About the Opportunity
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing Collateral/Margin Operations which involves handling margin processes, issuing timely margin calls, monitoring portfolios, resolving disputes, optimizing functions, delivering prompt client reports, and onboard new clients.
- Overseeing Trading Operations as the main point of contact for clients on matters concerning trade operations, bookings, settlements, corporate actions, queries, and issue resolution. Ensuring accurate and timely trade transaction processing per set procedures and regulatory standards. Providing operational reports and metrics for insights into risks, breaks, and business performance.
- Documenting all trading businesses and associated procedures.
- Formulating and maintaining operational policies for trading entities.
- Conducting Portfolio Reconciliation by carrying out regular reconciliations across different office systems, identifying and escalating discrepancies, and ensuring data accuracy.
Additional Duties:
- Continuously seeking opportunities to streamline processes, reduce risks, eliminate redundant tasks, and enhance workflow efficiency.
- Leading operational initiatives including system implementations, product launches, and process enhancements.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with various teams to address operational concerns, meet urgent needs, and devise solutions.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree coupled with relevant experience in financial services.
- Demonstrated analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and a strong eye for detail.
- Self-motivated, capable of handling pressure, and upholding uncompromised integrity in all tasks.
- Proficient organizational skills and adept at managing competing priorities effectively.
- A balance of confidence, humility, and a readiness to contribute within a global, high-performance team.
- Ability to collaborate harmoniously with global and cross-functional teams, particularly with institutional teams, and demonstrate prior experience in Financial Services with exposure to OTC derivatives.
