Senior Product Designer (DeFi)

About the role:

Company X is seeking a seasoned Product Designer to spearhead design efforts for the DeFi Wallet. The role involves designing, testing, and enhancing the product to facilitate customer exploration of decentralized finance and apps. The DeFi Wallet is uniquely aligned with the Cronos chain, the company's centralized app, and Visa cards, offering distinct product opportunities.

Product designers at Company X collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and participate in research, taking ownership of an app vertical and working collectively to implement solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the resolution of complex design challenges from end to end, translating customer insights and data into innovative product concepts.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, particularly engineers, to ensure a smooth transition from conceptualization to product development and release.
• Take a leadership role in collaboration with product managers to shape and evolve the product roadmap based on strategic insights.
• Promote collaboration among designers to enhance overall design standards and continuously improve design processes, principles, and tools.
• Use your extensive experience to mentor and guide colleagues, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth within the design team.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years designing digital products/services in a B2C setting.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design work for digital products and services.
• Interest in DeFi, with experience in crypto trading and web3 exploration.
• Expertise in creating intuitive and engaging consumer-facing experiences for web and mobile platforms, with a focus on elevating the user experience.
• Advanced skills in UX design, visual design principles, and clear articulation of design rationale.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating effectively with engineers, user researchers, and product teams.
• Proficiency in design tools, specifically Figma and prototyping tools, to efficiently translate ideas into interactive prototypes.
• Dedication to fostering a collaborative, open-minded culture and prioritizing team success over individual recognition.
