Senior Product Designer (DeFi)

About the role:

The company is seeking a Senior Product Designer to spearhead design efforts for the DeFi Wallet. This role involves designing, testing, and enhancing the product to enable customers to engage with decentralized finance and applications. The DeFi Wallet is closely linked to the Cronos chain, the company's app, and Visa cards, providing unique product opportunities.

Each product designer collaborates closely with product managers, engineers, and plays a supportive role in research. They collectively own an app vertical and work collaboratively to deliver solutions with their teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the resolution of complex design challenges from start to finish, translating customer insights and data analytics into innovative concepts that influence new product development.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, notably engineers, to ensure a seamless flow from concept to product release.
• Take a leadership role alongside product managers in shaping and refining the product roadmap, providing strategic insight that guides our offerings.
• Promote collaboration among designers throughout the organization, raising the overall design standard. Continuously improve our design processes, principles, and tools to remain at the forefront of industry innovation.
• Utilize your extensive experience to mentor and support other designers, cultivating a collaborative and growth-focused design team.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience designing digital products/services within a B2C environment.
• A strong portfolio showcasing design work for digital products and services.
• Interest in DeFi, with experience in crypto trading and exploring web3.
• Expertise in developing intuitive, engaging user experiences for web and mobile platforms. Your portfolio should demonstrate user-centric designs enhancing overall user experience.
• Ability to identify user journey gaps and provide excellent UX solutions. Proficiency in visual design principles ensuring designs exceed aesthetic and functional expectations. Strong written communication skills for clear articulation of design rationale.
• Demonstrated expertise in collaboration, including successful partnerships with engineers, user researchers, and product teams to bring design concepts to life.
• Proficiency in design tools, particularly Figma and prototyping tools, with the capability to efficiently translate ideas into interactive prototypes.
