Senior Product Manager, Trade

**Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Product Manager to lead the growth of BitGo's Prime trading platform. This position involves spearheading the development of top-tier execution services, real-time trading infrastructure, and innovative trading features. The ideal candidate should possess profound expertise in institutional trading workflows, market structures, trading technologies, and must excel in collaborating closely with engineering, sales, and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to defining and implementing BitGo's trading platform roadmap to guarantee seamless trading across multiple markets.
• Manage the entire product lifecycle from conception to launch, incorporating market analysis, strategy formulation, execution, and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to establish scalable, high-performance trading infrastructure that supports API and UI-driven trading.
• Refine trading algorithms, smart order routing (SOR), and execution logic to enhance execution quality across different platforms.
• Partner with Prime Brokerage teams to integrate trading with margin, financing, and custody services for a streamlined institutional workflow.
• Foster relationships with liquidity providers, exchanges, and market makers to bolster liquidity and optimize trade execution.
• Ensure compliance with regulations by closely collaborating with legal and compliance units to align trading features with global regulatory standards.
• Collect and analyze customer feedback to regularly enhance the trading experience for institutional investors.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of product management experience in trading, prime brokerage, market infrastructure, or fintech.
• In-depth understanding of institutional trading workflows, order types, execution models, and liquidity aggregation.
• Proficiency in trading APIs, FIX/REST/WebSocket protocols, and algorithmic execution strategies.
• Familiarity with margin trading, derivatives, and risk management principles.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, combining technical expertise with strategic decision-making.
• Strong analytical capabilities, enabling concise interpretation of market trends, customer requirements, and internal data for sound product decisions.
• Excellent communication skills with a track record of direct collaboration with institutional clients and trading desks.
• Enthusiasm for digital assets, blockchain technology, and the evolution of decentralized finance.

Pay Transparency Notice:

Dependent on your level and location, this role offers an average base salary ranging between $160,000 - $200,000 USD, inclusive of equity, an annual performance bonus, and the aforementioned benefits.
