Senior QA Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with team members (developers, product managers, customer support, and partners) to develop, test, and deliver top-notch products.
• Identify, gather, analyze, and monitor product defects.
• Develop detailed, well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Manage project dependencies and address risks effectively.

Qualifications:

• Possess over 5 years of experience in automation testing development.
• Proficient in creating clear, concise, and exhaustive test plans and test cases.
• Familiar with testing Webservice/Restful APIs and have a foundational understanding of commonly used databases like MySQL.
• Strong programming skills, with proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Java, Javascript, Python.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Sound knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies and experience utilizing collaboration tools like Jira, Trello, Slack, etc.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills for effective teamwork.
• Self-motivated to work independently and as part of a team.
• Exposure to distributed/remote working environments.
• Proficiency in uncovering 'why' behind issues, not just the 'what'.
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin to facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in performance testing considered a bonus.
• Familiarity with setting up automation processes.
• Proficiency in using at least one source code management tool such as SVN or Git.
