(Senior)Quality Assurance Automation Engineer (Crypto.com APP)

We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team focused on designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing software for various projects related to our core businesses with fast-paced, lean teams. In this role, you will actively contribute to designing components across scalable applications, spanning from frontend UI to backend infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test plans and cases, utilizing code to solve technical issues and streamline the test cycle through automation.
• Estimate test efforts, interpret and communicate test results, and engage in daily QA activities.
• Enhance and maintain test frameworks, tools, and technologies to uphold a high-quality standard within the organization.
• Collaborate with Development, Test, and Product Management teams to devise and execute test and validation strategies.
• Manage and execute test cases, report on test results and defect metrics, and troubleshoot automated test scenarios across systems.
• Contribute to developing robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation solutions for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Assist in establishing a Continuous Integration (CI) environment and drive ongoing process enhancements.
• Identify necessary improvements in test and development processes and contribute to automation tools tailored to specific needs.
• Uphold a high-quality standard within a complex and evolving workspace.

Requirements

• Experience in mobile testing and automated test procedures, emphasizing quality throughout the software development cycle.
• Proficiency in REST and WebSocket API automation testing using Python/Java.
• Familiarity with various frameworks such as Pytest, Pytest-bdd, Appium, Selenium, Cucumber, etc.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, with coding and debugging capabilities.
• Skills in design and development using Python/Java.
• Understanding of software design principles, patterns, algorithms, data structures, and multi-threading concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to translate functional requirements and use cases into effective test plans and cases.
• Customer focus, outstanding problem-solving skills, and analytical acumen.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Some exposure to continuous integration practices like Jenkins or CircleCI.
• Preference for experience in an agile environment.
• Capability to work across Windows and Linux systems is a plus.
• Passion for enhancing code quality through collaboration with the development team.
• Proficiency in adhering to coding standards and participating actively in code reviews.
