Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (Fiat)

Job Summary

• The company is seeking a qualified individual to join their team in designing, developing, and executing test plans to ensure software quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailed test cases, scripts, and automated frameworks for functional and regression testing.
• Lead testing initiatives for complex features and critical components to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Work closely with developers and product managers to establish clear quality criteria and testing requirements.
• Utilize requirements and technical specifications to create effective test strategies and plans.
• Identify, report, and track defects using testing tools, ensuring timely resolution with the development team.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
• Mentor junior QA engineers, participating in knowledge-sharing activities and advancing process improvements within the QA team.
• Keep abreast of emerging QA technologies and trends, integrating best practices into testing procedures.
• Communicate test outcomes, risks, and quality status transparently and effectively to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in software quality assurance, with exposure to various testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages such as Selenium, Appium, JMeter, Python, and Java.
• Experience with API testing (REST, WebSocket) and familiarity with blockchain or fintech environments is beneficial.
• Strong grasp of agile development processes and CI/CD workflows.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to excel in a collaborative work environment.
• Demonstrated adaptability in utilizing AI-powered tools for enhanced work efficiency, with a continuous learning mindset.
