Responsibilities:

The role offers a stimulating opportunity for successful candidates to engage in quantitative research and development at B2C2.

The position focuses on two key areas: leading research into OTC pricing and trading flow at B2C2 and mentoring junior team members.

For the right candidate, there is potential for a managerial role, though this is not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead analysis of OTC pricing and trading flows
• Provide mentorship
• Develop new automated pricing and risk-management models
• Analyze trading activity to identify opportunities
• Monitor and support automated trading systems
• Coordinate effectively with the sales team as the primary point of contact on OTC activity
• Collaborate with the trading and technology teams to achieve B2C2’s objectives
• Assist in the operational risk framework and act as the primary point of defense in the role
• Fulfill ad hoc duties as necessary for business requirements
• Build and maintain productive relationships with team members and senior management

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in FX or Crypto and 4 to 6 years in a finance research role
• Experience in client pricing and trading flow analysis
• Previous work on trading desks or in proximity to trading teams
• Proficiency in Python programming, including extensive experience with quantitative data analysis tools
• Intermediate skills in KDB
• Basic understanding of Java or Rust programming
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage pressure effectively
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a natural sense of risk
• Keen interest in financial and crypto markets
