About the Role

The Global Research team at OKX is a group of 8 researchers worldwide. They play a vital role in driving customer-centricity and innovation by delivering valuable insights throughout the product development process. Working closely with product and design teams, the researchers ensure that OKX products are both usable and valuable to users.

Responsibilities and Duties

As a senior researcher at OKX, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Building user panels and programs that enable researchers to deliver impactful work.
  • Collaborating with vendors to establish scalable translation models for international research.
  • Working closely with the Head of Research and the research team to recommend scalable solutions as the company continues to grow.
  • Overseeing operations and workflows, advising on recruitment resources, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Managing essential research processes, including research panels, data governance, tool and vendor management, recruitment, and knowledge management.
  • Creating and managing the user panel, implementing efficient and compliant processes, and ensuring a positive experience for participants and researchers.
  • Running the community research panel, focusing on recruitment strategies, member experience, program indicators, and best practices.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with third-party vendors to meet research team's needs and comply with procurement, legal, security, and privacy requirements.
  • Collaborating with research leads to identify new tools and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Documenting processes, best practices, and templates to ensure consistency and efficiency across researchers.

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications, skills, and experiences:

  • Experience in building research processes and panels, and scaling them from scratch.
  • Strong knowledge and interest in the blockchain and fintech industry.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including product teams such as project managers and designers.
  • Familiarity with different research methodologies and recruitment strategies for qualitative and quantitative research, including usability tests, interviews, surveys, card sorting, and tree testing.
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of experience leading research studies, from planning and recruiting to analyzing and activating.
  • Experience in building research panels or customer service communities.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to educate the team about user research.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in professional English, knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.
