Token Metrics is looking for an accomplished Senior Software Architect to lead the advancement of our analytics platform and trading bot. This pivotal position will play a vital role in expanding our infrastructure to cater to millions of users worldwide, focusing on optimizing performance, security, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a thorough evaluation of Token Metrics' existing architecture, pinpointing areas for enhancement and streamlining.
- Develop and manage the deployment of scalable solutions for supporting a vast user base across the globe.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to synchronize technical strategies with business goals.
- Offer technical guidance and mentorship to the development team.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, proposing innovative solutions.
- Ensure the security and dependability of Token Metrics' platforms on a large scale.
- Create and uphold architectural documentation and standards.
- Execute strategies for significantly reducing platform bugs.
- Improve the quality assurance process to boost the reliability of engineering outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of software development expertise, with at least 5 years in a senior architectural position.
- Extensive understanding of system design and architecture principles.
- Proven track record in scaling applications to accommodate millions of users.
- Proficiency in OLTP & OLAP databases, particularly Snowflake.
- Proficiency in contemporary web technologies and frameworks like Next.js, Supabase, Tailwind, and Shadcn.
- Robust background in cloud computing and distributed systems.
- Relevant certification such as Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking skills.
- Effective communication skills to convey intricate technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
- Vast experience in implementing bug reduction strategies and enhancing software quality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in the cryptocurrency or fintech sector.
- Knowledge of blockchain tech and decentralized applications.
- Familiarity with machine learning and AI in trading algorithms.
- Track record of successful large-scale system migrations.
- Contributions to open-source projects or published technical papers.
