Backend Engineer
Description
We are seeking a dynamic individual to contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of software solutions for various ventures projects. These projects are closely aligned with our core business and require efficient execution by a lean team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the design and functionality of scalable applications, spanning from frontend UI to backend infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Engage in backend service and operations development, collaborate on architectural decisions, and participate in various design phases
- Develop retail trading products and extend product reach into new markets
- Identify and address complex issues within large-scale backend infrastructure
- Provide real-time and reliable trading information to customers
- Offer technical operational support to resolve customer queries
- Spearhead projects and foster a culture of innovation by embracing new technologies and encouraging experimentation
- Work closely with DevOps and Infra teams to enhance the technology stack for long-term engineering endeavors
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented code and functionalities
Requirements
- Passion for creating top-tier products that solve real-world challenges
- Proficiency in various technologies, with a self-driven approach and a strong focus on results
- Ability to collaborate effectively, remain open to new ideas, and adapt to challenges
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholder requirements
- Knowledge of financial domains or Blockchain technology is advantageous
- Proficiency in Golang, with experience in other programming languages considered a plus
- Preferably skilled in Postgres, Redis, and Kafka
- Experience with scalability, security, and performance optimization strategies
