Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing customer-centric products and internal tools, ensuring code performance aligns with company coding standards and includes robust unit test coverage. Identifying system bottlenecks and enhancing application response rates.
• Collaborating with engineers, product managers, business units, and senior leadership to translate product and technical visions into actionable quarterly roadmaps.
• Taking charge of the technical aspects of our infrastructure by aligning platform capabilities with customer requirements through the creation of tailored applications.
• Reviewing and monitoring software applications to maintain optimal functionality.
• Iterating rapidly to introduce new features, resolve complex issues with simple, user-focused solutions, and deliver high-quality applications.
• Providing technical support for platform-related concerns, debugging reported issues efficiently for timely resolution.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent field, preferably in Computer Science.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering, specifically in the development of large-scale web applications.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in writing production code using Python, Java, or Golang.
• Proficiency with AWS, including familiarity with modern web technologies like AWS cloud services, MySQL databases, Redis caching, and messaging tools such as Kafka/SQS.
• Comfortable working on backend systems and exploring backend or datastore functionalities as needed.
• Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and asynchronous architectures.
• Well-versed in current industry technical practices, adaptable to dynamic environments.
• Passion for contributing to an open financial system that elevates product offerings.
• Excellent communication skills, collaborative mindset, and attention to operational detail.
