Role Description:
An opportunity has arisen for a proficient Senior Software Engineer to become part of the thriving Core Platform team at the Oasis Protocol Foundation.
Responsibilities:
- Create, enhance, test, deploy, and uphold the systems within our blockchain ecosystem, which includes the core network protocol, distributed systems structure, encryption systems, and developer resources. As these blockchain systems are required to be exceptionally reliable, given their operation over a largely uncontrolled network, the challenge is embraced.
- Successfully manage project priorities, rapid timelines, and definite deliverables in this rapid blockchain ecosystem environment.
- Engage in design and code evaluations conducted by both the Oasis Foundation team and the wider open-source community.
- Enhance engineering standards, tools, and operational procedures.
Requirements:
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a comparable technical field of study
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in software development
- Exposure to distributed systems
- Sound understanding of Computer Science fundamentals
- Proficiency in Go and/or Rust programming languages
- Capability to guide projects towards punctual milestones
- Demonstrate an interest in Privacy and Confidentiality matters
- Essential: fluency in English
