Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack
The company Titan is a disruptor in a well-established industry that is currently dominated by traditional players such as Fidelity, Schwab, and Goldman Sachs. These companies, however, are lacking modern infrastructure and provide poor user experiences. Titan's mission is to build a modern investment firm that is accessible to everyone.
As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building and enhancing various components of our platform to ensure a seamless and satisfying experience for tens of thousands of clients. This includes working on our mobile app (built with React Native), content generation and admin tools (built with React), backend systems for transactions (based on node.js), and the MongoDB database. You will collaborate closely with the CTO and other senior engineers to maintain the stability, scalability, and security of Titan's systems. Additionally, you will collaborate cross-functionally with the design, product, and customer experience teams to deliver innovative and user-friendly financial products.
We are looking for candidates with a strong technical background and at least 5 years of experience building applications using JavaScript/TypeScript. You should be familiar with all aspects of fullstack development, from frontend tweaks to backend data storage. We strongly encourage continuous learning and improvement, as we believe both Titan's and your best days are ahead. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with subject matter experts from different teams is essential. Integrity and a sense of responsibility are fundamental qualities, as we act as fiduciaries for our clients. Leadership skills and the ability to mentor other members in areas such as architecture, security, and design are also valued.
In addition to working with a passionate and diverse team on a product that positively impacts thousands of people, we offer competitive compensation, including stock options, as well as comprehensive benefits like medical and dental insurance. Other perks include unlimited PTO and sick days, a 401(k) plan with employer match, provided MacBook/PC laptop, internet and health/wellness stipends, daily lunches at our headquarters, and a work-from-home stipend to optimize your set-up.
Note: The anticipated annual salary for this role is in the range of $150,000 - $210,000, along with company stock options and the benefits mentioned above. The final salary will be determined based on various factors such as work experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
