Description
We are looking for a proactive team player to contribute to the creation, enhancement, and maintenance of software for a variety of entrepreneurial projects. These projects are closely related to our primary operations and are rapidly developed with a small, efficient team. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in designing scalable applications, covering everything from frontend user interface to backend infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Conduct backend service and operation development tasks, such as proposing architectural decisions, collaborating on designs, conducting design reviews, coding, performing code reviews, and implementing products for developers and end-users.
- Enhance our retail trading products and extend our product reach to new regions.
- Address and resolve complex problems within large-scale backend infrastructure.
- Deliver reliable and responsive trading data to our customers.
- Offer technical operational support to resolve customer issues.
- Take ownership of projects and foster a culture of innovation by embracing new technologies and promoting experimentation.
- Work closely with the DevOps and Infrastructure teams to enhance the technology stack for long-term engineering projects.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all code and functionalities implemented.
Requirements
- Showcase a passion for developing high-quality products that solve real-world challenges, possess proficiency in various technologies, self-driven, quick to learn, and have a proactive attitude towards task completion.
- Display humility in accepting superior ideas, demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement, and be receptive to challenges and opportunities.
- Demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to manage conflicting demands from diverse stakeholders effectively.
- Knowledge of financial domain concepts and Blockchain technology is a plus.
- Proficiency in Ruby and Golang is required, and experience with other programming languages is advantageous.
- Preference for candidates with expertise in Postgres, Redis, and Kafka.
- Experience in addressing scalability, security, and performance optimization issues.
