Senior Software Engineer (Golang/Ruby on Rails)

We are looking for a proactive team player to contribute to the creation, enhancement, and maintenance of software for a variety of entrepreneurial projects. These projects are closely related to our primary operations and are rapidly developed with a small, efficient team. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in designing scalable applications, covering everything from frontend user interface to backend infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct backend service and operation development tasks, such as proposing architectural decisions, collaborating on designs, conducting design reviews, coding, performing code reviews, and implementing products for developers and end-users.
• Enhance our retail trading products and extend our product reach to new regions.
• Address and resolve complex problems within large-scale backend infrastructure.
• Deliver reliable and responsive trading data to our customers.
• Offer technical operational support to resolve customer issues.
• Take ownership of projects and foster a culture of innovation by embracing new technologies and promoting experimentation.
• Work closely with the DevOps and Infrastructure teams to enhance the technology stack for long-term engineering projects.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all code and functionalities implemented.

Requirements

• Knowledge of financial domain concepts and Blockchain technology is a plus.
• Proficiency in Ruby and Golang is required, and experience with other programming languages is advantageous.
• Preference for candidates with expertise in Postgres, Redis, and Kafka.
• Experience in addressing scalability, security, and performance optimization issues.
