Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer with a focus on back-end and server-side development to join our Fiat Team at BitGo. The ideal candidate will bring solid technical expertise in algorithm design, system architecture, and API development, with a proven background working with Elixir, Phoenix, LiveView, PostgreSQL, and microservices.
Key Qualifications:
Required:
- Demonstrated 6+ years of experience in back-end and server-side development
- Proficiency in algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis
- Strong track record in technical system design across diverse teams
- Expertise in Elixir, Phoenix, LiveView, and PostgreSQL
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles
- Experience with microservices, service-oriented architectures, and testing/debugging
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub, code review tools, CI tools, etc.
- Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced environments
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, applied mathematics, or related field
- Interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology
Preferred:
- Knowledge of the Ash framework
- Background in TypeScript, Node.js, Express, and MongoDB
- Experience in developing consumer-facing crypto products
- Proficiency in building public-facing APIs and workflow applications
- Skill in creating interactive UIs using LiveView or React
- Previous engagement with clients or business partners
- Understanding of digital wallets, clearing and settlement, lending, trading, accounting systems, etc.
