Your responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer at our company, you will focus on the FinCrime prevention team, where you will be involved in developing products and services to enhance transaction monitoring, fraud detection, AML compliance, and Anti-Terrorism Financing measures. Your role will include critical project work, addressing architectural complexities, engaging with third-party vendors, and fostering collaboration with various teams at our organization.

Primary Duties

  • Designing and implementing scalable, robust, message-driven services using Java
  • Writing well-structured and thoroughly tested code deployed within an event-driven microservices architecture
  • Contributing to technical discussions and knowledge-sharing across the team
  • Enhancing system performance and resilience through optimization strategies
  • Cultivating strong inter-team relationships and addressing technical challenges collaboratively

Qualifications

  • Extensive expertise in Java 11+ software development and best practices
  • Proficiency in both relational and non-relational databases, particularly Postgres and MongoDB
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining high-performance REST APIs with an emphasis on optimization and scalability
  • Practical knowledge of message-oriented middleware like Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ within the context of event-driven microservices
  • Strong familiarity with CI/CD practices and hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes
