About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Software Engineer/Senior Software Engineer to join our Payments Team. This position will have a significant impact on our engineering team in the US and will involve collaborating with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to build a scalable, resilient, and observable payment platform.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-scale APIs and distributed payment services on multiple cloud service providers using Java and Java Spring Boot.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
• Investigate and troubleshoot complex technical issues, proposing effective solutions and fixes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in technology and software development.
• Contribute to a fast-paced and collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Software Development.
• Proficient in Java development, with additional experience in other languages being a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain high-availability and large-scale applications.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles including data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and drive cross-team solutions with complex requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Haves

• Experience working with Java Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of payment systems and platforms is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of being strategic, analytical, and execution-oriented.
• Familiarity with product management processes and tools.
• Experience collaborating with remote teams across different time zones.

OKX Statement

The salary range for this position is $139,000 to $208,000, depending on factors such as knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. A performance bonus and long-term incentives may also be provided, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, financial, and other perks.
