Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in Rust programming.
- Proficiency in software design, architecture, and engineering.
- Familiarity with message-based and event-sourced architectures.
- Proven experience in smart contract development.
- Background in the blockchain industry, specifically on Layer 1.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability in tasks and projects.
- Dedication to professionalism and high-quality work standards.
- Eagerness to enhance and maintain existing codebase.
Nice to have
- Previous involvement with the NEAR ecosystem, such as nearcore codebase familiarity.
- Experience in developing and auditing security-sensitive code.
- Knowledge of EVM and web3 ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Enhance and sustain Rust-written services crucial to business infrastructure.
- Explore and test the implementation of innovative blockchain technologies.
- Review and offer insights on technical architecture company-wide.
- Contribute to technical governance of NEAR ecosystem OSS projects.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with a fully remote team.
- Engage with Ethereum and actively participate in Ethereum engineering communities.
