Senior Staff Engineer / Tech Lead - Java

We are currently seeking a proactive and hands-on technical leader to spearhead the design and delivery of various crypto-related products. This exciting role involves leading global greenfield initiatives that will have a daily impact on millions of users. As a Staff Engineer/Tech Lead, you will be actively involved in coding approximately 70% of the time, while also overseeing a skilled and high-performing team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy crypto-related products like crypto exchanges, fiat gateways, futures, margin, lending platforms, and more.
• Drive the development of systems capable of scaling 100x, facilitating substantial infrastructure and architecture upgrades.
• Provide leadership in day-to-day development activities by engaging in architecture decisions, design reviews, code reviews, and implementation.
• Establish and manage system infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• Over 9 years of experience in the complete software development lifecycle.
• Minimum of 2 years in an engineering leadership/management role.
• Demonstrated success in leading teams to achieve significant business impact and outstanding results in dynamic environments.
• Proficient in Core Java with familiarity in the Spring framework.
• Expertise in MySQL and hands-on experience with at least one NoSQL database.
• Proficiency in distributed system design and understanding of at least one messaging middleware and its design principles.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-team communication skills.
