Based in SoHo, NYC, with remote work options, we are seeking a highly motivated engineer to contribute to developing innovative financial products. Your focus will primarily be on enhancing the Uniswap Wallet suite of products, encompassing mobile apps for iOS and Android and a new browser extension. These projects are unified in a monorepo architecture, leveraging React Native for Web for optimal code sharing.
In this role as a Senior Engineer at Uniswap, you will spearhead significant projects, maintain high coding standards, and continuously enhance your skillset. Upholding a seamless user experience and shape the vision of upcoming products and features will be key responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality code and architectural documentation consistently
- Lead impactful projects with a team of engineers, showcasing autonomy
- Implement UI elements efficiently from design concepts, prioritizing performance and accessibility
- Strategically decide between creating abstractions or specific features
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years in software engineering
- Proficiency in building React Native applications
- Strong background in end-to-end engineering excellence on large-scale projects
- Knowledge of web3 frontend stack tools like ethers.js, web3.js, and view
- Experience with TypeScript and enthusiasm for modern web and mobile development practices
