The essential role of a Mining Operations- Site Manager at CleanSpark involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the mining facility. This position collaborates with a team to maintain 24/7 coverage, support the mining centers, and assist engineering and facilities teams.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain critical facility infrastructure systems in compliance with company policies.
• Ensure mission goal of 99.999% uptime is consistently met by staying prepared for routine operations and emergencies.
• Operate and engage routine and emergency service for various cutting-edge critical systems within the facility.
• Establish and assess performance benchmarks, analyze operations, and compile reports on critical facility aspects.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols site-wide and compliance with safety plans.
• Oversee Mining Operations and Facilities Technicians while providing quick responses to emergencies.
• Collaborate with internal leadership to coordinate projects, optimize safety, efficiency, reliability, and capacity.
• Supervise on-site management of subcontractors and vendors to ensure alignment with established practices and protocols.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the company and manage local client relationships at the site.
• Assist in creating and managing MOPs and SOPs for critical facilities processes and equipment.
• Schedule work activities following designated change management protocol.
• Manage site inventory and equipment records.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement efforts to exceed CleanSpark standards consistently.
• Other duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School or GED Equivalent.
• Experience: 1 year of technical experience in a Bitcoin mining facility, with 6 months in shift lead/supervisory roles.
• General understanding of large-scale networking, power, and Bitcoin mining operations.
• Key skills: Leadership, effective communication, ability to work independently, basic computer competency.
• Personal traits: Proactive, helpful, conscientious, team-oriented, pride in quality work.
• Physical requirements: Ability to lift 50-75 lbs.
• Other: Reliable self-transportation.
