Role Overview
sFOX is in search of a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer to lead the development and upkeep of a resilient real-time trading infrastructure in collaboration with backend and frontend teams. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in Kubernetes, AWS, and software development, alongside a keen interest in automation processes for operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and oversee scalable systems on AWS using Kubernetes.
- Create and manage automation scripts and tools to facilitate continuous integration and deployment.
- Collaborate with developers to streamline code deployment processes for enhanced efficiency.
- Identify and address system issues, optimizing system performance and resolving bottlenecks.
- Maintain system security and ensure compliance with industry standards, with knowledge of blockchain technologies and cryptography.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in roles like SRE or DevOps Engineer.
- Proficient in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFormation.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration tools.
- Skilled in scripting and programming languages like Python, Bash, or Ruby.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and networking protocols.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities, with experience in technical team leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to traffic management systems such as Traefik.
- Familiarity with mesh networking and blue-green deployments.
sFOX operates as a remote-first organization, with an annual salary range of $150,000-$180,000 dependent on experience, qualifications, and location.
