Smart Contract Engineer (Nigeria-Remote)
Token Metrics is looking for a versatile Smart Contract Engineer to support the Engineering team in their operations. The chosen candidate will collaborate closely with colleagues and product managers in constructing infrastructure to bring Token Metrics privacy and scalability solutions to the Ethereum ecosystem. Examples of tasks include developing a cross-chain bridge for asset movement and implementing a Solidity smart contract for block validation in a confidential and verifiable transaction system on Token Metrics.
Responsibilities include designing, implementing, testing, and deploying EVM smart contracts, working with external auditors to assess the security and integrity of smart contracts, and managing engineering projects from inception to production. The candidate will cooperate with engineering leaders and the product team to establish realistic roadmaps.
Requirements for the role include a minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent experience in blockchain/smart contract development. Proficiency in Solidity, including familiarity with precompiles, is essential, as is an understanding of software engineering and security best practices, particularly in the area of smart contract security. Experience in interacting with dapps/web3 and successfully delivering engineering projects to production is also desired.
