Social Media Manager

Overview:

We are in need of a dynamic Social Media Manager with extensive experience in the cryptocurrency field. The ideal candidate should possess at least 4 years of specialized expertise, with a background in working with prominent blockchain chains or projects within the top 200. This position requires steering our social media presence, engaging with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), utilizing meme culture, and staying updated on trending topics within the DeFi sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage engaging content across various social media platforms tailored to the crypto audience, focusing on educational content, memes, and current trends.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with KOLs and influencers in the crypto space to enhance brand visibility and drive engagement.
• Stay informed on emerging trends in the crypto market, such as DeFi and NFTs, to create timely content that positions the company at the forefront of industry discussions.
• Effectively integrate meme culture into social media content to connect with the community in a current and professional manner.
• Actively oversee and grow social media communities by interacting with comments, hosting AMAs, and fostering a positive brand environment.
• Monitor social media analytics to assess engagement and campaign performance, utilizing data to optimize strategies and report to stakeholders.
• Plan and execute social media campaigns aligned with product launches, partnerships, or significant crypto events.
• Ensure all content complies with the latest advertising and promotional regulations within the crypto industry.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
• 4+ years of social media management experience in the cryptocurrency sector.
• Previous employment experience with a top 200 blockchain chain or project.
• Demonstrated ability in engaging with KOLs and utilizing crypto influencer marketing.
• Profound knowledge of DeFi, NFTs, and blockchain technologies.
• Proficiency in meme culture and its application in crypto marketing.
• Strong writing skills with a talent for creating viral social media content.
• Familiarity with social media management tools, analytics, and content scheduling platforms.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with specialized crypto platforms like Crypto Twitter, Reddit crypto communities, or Discord servers.
• Established personal network or following within the crypto community for brand promotion.
• Understanding of Web3 technologies, including DAOs, and their intersection with social media.
