Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate within a devops team to build internal platforms.
- Enhance system reliability, scalability, and security in alignment with internal teams.
- Enhance infrastructure quality through ongoing improvements.
- Automate the building and management of systems, infrastructure, and applications.
- Provide operational support to internal teams concerning platform projects.
- Drive efficiency improvements, reduce latency, and optimize system deployments.
- Promote sustainable incident responses and blameless postmortems.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and serve as an escalation contact for service incidents alongside the engineering team.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or Devops Engineer.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: C, C++, Java, Python, or Go.
- Sound knowledge of Linux internals and bash scripting.
- Proficient in observability, debugging, and performance tuning across the technology stack.
- Hands-on experience in managing infrastructure with cloud providers like AWS.
- Solid background in Cloud Native technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
- Basic familiarity with RDBMS systems like MySQL.
- Understanding of networking protocols like TCP/IP.
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in automation tools like Ansible and Terraform.
- Proficiency in devops tools like Jenkins, ArgoCD, and GitHub Actions.
- Extensive knowledge of advanced observability and monitoring stacks such as Grafana.
- Skilled in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a driven mindset.
- Extensive experience supporting production systems as SRE.
- Experience in setting up monitoring stacks for process and docker-based environments.
