Description
Our client operates as a leader in creating body motion video games for their proprietary device. They are currently on the lookout for a Software Engineer to spearhead the design and implementation of high-performance systems that fuel sensing, detection, and inference for cutting-edge interactive products.
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for defining the technical roadmap of fundamental platform layers that form the core of real-time multimodal systems:
Responsibilities:
- Develop and architect efficient, cross-platform software frameworks that power detection, sensing, haptics, and ML inference.
- Create runtime execution systems and hardware abstraction layers that offer low latency and high reliability.
- Construct developer-friendly APIs to allow seamless extension of foundational platform capabilities by others.
- Optimize and integrate camera, microphone, and haptics pipelines to support multimodal data streams.
- Collaborate with real-time data while ensuring frameworks run stably on various hardware configurations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in developing frameworks, performance-critical applications, or cross-platform systems.
- Proficient in C++/C# and adept in one other systems language like Java, Rust, or Go.
- Demonstrated track record in real-time systems development and code optimization for high performance.
- Experience in hardware abstraction and creating APIs utilized by other engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in specialized areas such as computer vision, embedded systems, signal processing, low-latency software, or CI/CD infrastructure for high-performance codebases.
