Description
Our client is a prominent developer of body motion video games for their proprietary device. They are in search of a Software Engineer to lead the design and creation of high-performance systems for advanced interactive products.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for shaping the technical direction of key platform layers essential for real-time multimodal systems, including detection, sensing, and haptics.
Responsibilities:
- Design and construct efficient, cross-platform software frameworks to support detection, sensing, haptics, and machine learning inference.
- Develop streamlined runtime execution systems and hardware layers for low latency and high reliability performance.
- Create developer-friendly APIs to facilitate building on foundational platform capabilities.
- Optimize camera, microphone, and haptics pipelines to manage multimodal data streams effectively.
- Collaborate with real-time data and ensure framework functionality across various hardware setups.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in building frameworks, performance-oriented applications, or cross-platform systems.
- Proficient in C++/C# and familiarity with at least one other systems language like Java, Rust, or Go.
- Proven track record in real-time systems development and code optimization for high performance.
- Expertise in hardware abstraction and crafting APIs for use by other engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in computer vision, embedded systems, signal processing, low-latency software, or CI/CD infrastructure for high-performance codebases.
