Software Engineer - Governance

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy decentralized governance systems for the Internet Computer leveraging state-of-the-art technologies.
• Work closely with DFINITY's development and research teams, as well as the broader ICP community, to enhance governance systems collaboratively.
• Create, refine, and optimize endpoints for diverse clients engaging and assimilating with governance systems.
• Enhance operational efficiency and efficacy.
• Contribute to innovative solutions for large-scale distributed systems projects and governance tools.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Proficiency in system software languages like C, C++, or Rust. Note: Experience in Rust is ideal, and training will be provided for skill enhancement.
• Ability to collaborate effectively internally and externally to ensure seamless integration with governance systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with large-scale distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Blockchain and Cryptocurrency technologies.
• Previous leadership involvement in decentralized governance-related projects or initiatives.

Please be aware that this position requires three days of in-office work at our Zurich location.
