About the Role
The role of the Solutions Architect involves guiding Keyfactor customers and partners through the implementation and integration of Keyfactor’s solutions into their systems and applications. This position requires direct interaction with customers and partners to install software components and address any issues that may arise. Additionally, it entails collaborating with various stakeholders in the organization to contribute to the product’s strategic direction and support the managed services segment.
This job is remote in the US, suitable for individuals with US citizenship or US permanent resident status.
Responsibilities
- Manage time effectively to handle tasks in a dynamic company.
- Assist customers and partners with the design, implementation, and utilization of Keyfactor solution offerings by:
- Collaborating with Keyfactor's Sales team to ensure customers receive optimal solutions.
- Conducting design workshops with customers and partners.
- Documenting solution designs for customer approval.
- Preparing customers and partners for full adoption of Keyfactor solutions.
- Implementing solutions through collaboration to enhance Keyfactor’s integration with customers.
- Working with project teams to test solutions and attain customer acceptance.
- Support the team in efficient delivery of Keyfactor’s solutions including:
- Automation incorporation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborating with Keyfactor Product teams for feature suggestions and issue resolutions.
- Documenting common architectures and solutions to improve team efficiency.
- Communicate knowledge gained back to the Knowledge Management teams.
- Resolve customer and partner requests promptly and satisfactorily.
Skills and Qualifications Needed
- 1-2 years experience in IT fields such as services delivery or consultation within large enterprises.
- Effective and professional communication with customers and external stakeholders in consulting scenarios.
- Respectful, flexible, and efficient at managing tasks in a growing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems.
- Proficiency in core networking and fundamental infrastructure concepts.
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective time and project management abilities.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Extensive knowledge of Active Directory.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux operating systems.
- Advanced development skills in scripting with Microsoft tools like SQL, Powershell, etc.
- Willingness to adapt to new technologies, languages, and APIs.
- Familiarity with Public-Key Infrastructure (PKI), digital certificates, and cryptography.
- Knowledge of business applications like Microsoft 365 and Atlassian.
- Industry certifications are a plus.
- Advantages include proficiency in DevOps and Automation tools, such as Ansible, scripting with bash/powershell, Jenkins, Puppet, etc.
- Understanding of Java Application Servers, Database Servers like JBoss, Wildfly, MySQL, MariaDB, MSSQL.
- Knowledge related to EJBCA is beneficial.
- Having an existing security clearance is an additional advantage.
