About the Opportunity

As a visionary, your role will be to lead the development of a cutting-edge fraud risk management system at OKX. You will be responsible for building and managing the fraud risk systems roadmap to facilitate legitimate customer access to a diverse range of crypto assets. This role encompasses the development of risk models, strategies, platforms, integration with fraud and risk vendors, and ensuring healthy business growth while enhancing the customer risk experience. Collaborating closely with various teams, you will help shape fraud risk programs aligned with OKX's objectives.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Spearhead the transformation of OKX's risk product and business operations to elite standards, ensuring a balanced approach to financial losses, customer experience, and business growth.
  • Oversee fraud risk management for a range of fiat payment products, developing proactive strategies to prevent and detect fraud-related incidents.
  • Implement state-of-the-art fraud detection technologies to bolster fraud prevention capabilities.
  • Establish and monitor metrics to evaluate the success of the product and utilize data insights for enhancing the risk product.
  • Utilize hands-on skills to extract and analyze data using SQL and Python.
  • Cultivate a data-driven culture within the department through value-added data analysis and proactive management of information.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams to build and implement robust risk solutions to address emerging business challenges.

What We Look For In You

  • Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related field. Significant experience may compensate for a Bachelor's degree.
  • Prior product management experience in fraud risk with expertise in AI and machine learning.
  • 5+ years of experience in fraud analytics within financial services or FinTech sectors.
  • Strong proficiency in technical aspects related to risk analysis and product development; willing to engage beyond a mere user experience perspective.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams in dynamic environments to deliver complex projects.
  • Data-oriented mindset with experience in identifying KPIs and collaborating with engineering and analytics for effective monitoring.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

OKX Statement
