About the Position
CertiK is currently hiring a Staff Accountant to join their dynamic team. The Staff Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and timeliness of financial records, reports, and analyses. Responsibilities include preparing bank reconciliations, analyzing General Ledger accounts, posting journal entries, and assisting with financial statement preparation in adherence to accounting standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations
- Review inter-company accounts for proper booking and reconciliation
- Manage General Ledger accounts
- Post recurring journal entries
- Handle monthly accruals
- Initiate and manage corporate wires and account transfers
- Prepare and analyze financial statements following accounting standards
- Assist with year-end audit activities
- Generate ad hoc reports as necessary
- Undertake any other assigned duties
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preference for public and private sector exposure
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Team player with a proactive approach to learning and challenges
- Ability to work efficiently in a fluid, fast-paced environment
- Experience with NetSuite considered a plus
- Capable of functioning effectively in a remote team setting
- Desired ability to work alongside a diverse team
The expected annual salary range for this role is between $60,000 - $75,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
