We have developed an innovative application called Ledger Live, aimed at managing all blockchain-backed assets efficiently. Leveraging React.js technology on both desktop (Electron) and mobile (React Native), Ledger Live supports multiple blockchains encompassing coins, NFTs, and provides diverse services by integrating DApps. This application, anchored by our hardware wallets, facilitates seamless asset management for users across many functions.
To propel our company's growth, we are seeking a skilled Staff Front-End Engineer to join the Wallet Experience business unit. As part of the Live Hub squad, you will be entrusted with constructing and upholding the portfolio and account management UI workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Assume ownership of the desktop and mobile development phases of Ledger Live Applications from a technical perspective.
- Collaborate with developers, QA testers, designers, and product teams within the Ledger Live domain.
- Propose technical solutions and exhibit proactivity.
- Implement features while adhering to best practices in unit and end-to-end testing.
- Engage in thorough code reviews and uphold the quality of Ledger's UI/UX framework.
- Mentor team members, fostering technical growth, and enforce high standards within the team.
- Contribute exclusively to Open Source projects encompassed in our monorepo.
- Share expertise within Ledger and beyond.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of software development experience.
- Possess a curious mindset and approach tasks with a positive demeanor, making you a valuable team player.
- Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Extensive experience in React.js development, along with adeptness in related tools and libraries.
- Proficiency in testing strategies and understanding of UI/UX practices in software development.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with React Native and/or Electron platforms.
- Exposure to Web3 topics and their technical components.
- Previous experience in managing a repository of shared components.
