Responsibilities
- Directly manage a major trading book during Asian hours, addressing operational and trading issues in real-time
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 6-8 traders, overseeing the entire Arbitrage desk, including risk management and optimization of trading performance
- Continually seek additional edges through thorough analysis of trading and market trends
- Collaborate closely with global trading and middle office teams to ensure accurate trade booking and reconciliation between front and back office systems
- Interface with key exchange counterparts on margin requirements, coin borrows, trade discrepancies, technical matters, and market making needs
- Drive enhancements to existing trading strategies while researching, developing, and implementing new strategies
- Generate ideas, formulate strategies, conduct back-testing, and implement improvements
- Address complex pricing issues related to cryptocurrency derivatives
