Seedworld Studios seeks a technical artist with strong Unreal Engine expertise covering animation systems and environment/asset integration. The potential candidate should excel in implementing and optimizing animations, diagnosing technical issues in Blueprints, and ensure efficient asset/environment integration for high-quality game production. The role involves collaborating with artists and programmers to optimize assets and pipelines, develop tools, debug processes, and implement technical art features.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and manage advanced production pipelines and workflows.
- Develop tools to enhance artistic production efficiency.
- Ensure assets adhere to technical and artistic standards.
- Utilize latest tools and methods to improve graphics workload.
- Sharing best practices, conducting training, and mentoring the team.
- Integrate, validate, and optimize graphic data in the engine.
- Fix graphic bugs, provide advanced support to other artists.
- Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Lead QA efforts to ensure optimal assets.
- Push for optimal visual quality and performance balance.
- Optimize and profile for peak performance on all platforms.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in game development aspects such as Modeling & Texturing, Lighting, Shaders, VFX, and Animation.
- Understanding of Graphic Rendering Pipeline for next-gen technologies.
- Unreal Engine experience required, other engines a plus.
- Familiarity with performance profiling and optimization tools.
- Strong programming knowledge including Python, Unreal Script, C++/C#.
- UI Development for Tools (QT, WPF) knowledge beneficial.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Expertise in 3D development software.
- Willingness to adapt to and implement new technologies for games.
- Ability to quickly learn new skills and foster strong team relationships.
