Technical Program Manager

Polygon Labs is a software development company focused on building and expanding a network of aggregated blockchains through the AggLayer, safeguarded by Ethereum. The AggLayer functions as public infrastructure to unite user bases and liquidity across connected chains, while utilizing Ethereum as a settlement layer. Moreover, Polygon Labs plays a significant role in the advancement of various scaling protocols and tools for launching blockchains, including Polygon PoS, Polygon zkEVM, and upcoming projects like Polygon Miden and Polygon CDK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing program strategies in collaboration with senior leadership to define objectives aligned with the Web3 vision of the company.
• Directing a diverse range of Web3 projects to ensure they correspond with program aims. Managing and promoting collaboration among project managers and teams.
• Upholding extensive knowledge of Web3 technologies, blockchain platforms, smart contracts, decentralized applications (DApps), and related tools and protocols.
• Recognizing, evaluating, and mitigating risks at the program level. Formulating backup plans and resolving issues that may impede program progression.
• Efficiently managing program resources including budgets, staffing, and technology requirements to enhance resource utilization.
• Establishing and enforcing quality control measures to guarantee the delivery of high-quality Web3 solutions, overseeing testing and compliance activities.
• Engaging in transparent and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, offering regular updates on program status and deviations.
• Crafting and maintaining thorough program documentation encompassing strategic plans and progress reports.
• Staying informed of industry developments in Web3 technologies, suggesting and implementing process enhancements for improved program efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Demonstrated experience as a Technical Program Manager in the Web3 or blockchain industry.
• Proficient knowledge of blockchain technologies such as Ethereum, Polygon, Polkadot, or similar networks, including familiarity with consensus protocols.
• Strong grasp of program management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent leadership qualities, communication skills, and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to adapt quickly to changing program requirements and priorities.
• Experience with DApps and Smart Contract development is advantageous.
• Possession of certifications like PgMP, PMP, or equivalent certifications is beneficial.
