Technical Project Manager - Equities, MainApp
Responsibilities
- Manage intricate and expansive cross-team, cross-functional technology initiatives.
- Collaborate with development teams to estimate work efforts, set milestones, and allocate resources.
- Ensure successful outcomes by collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the design-to-rollout process.
- Monitor progress, resolve dependencies, assess risks, and provide status updates to management and project stakeholders.
- Develop and monitor metrics related to initiative objectives, making data-driven decisions.
- Coordinate technology initiatives with business feature deliveries, ensuring alignment between technical and business priorities.
- Generate and maintain documentation in collaboration with developers for various audiences, such as production support playbooks, API documentation.
- Manage deployment workflows and enhance knowledge-sharing processes to empower the team.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project and/or program management within a software applications setting.
- Thorough understanding of software development, architecture, and infrastructure.
- Exposure to Waterfall, Agile development methodologies; experience as Scrum Master is advantageous.
- Proficiency in engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple business units.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to align disparate groups towards common objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; mentoring experience is beneficial.
- Proficient in facilitating meetings, summarizing documentation effectively.
- Skilled in establishing processes and driving automation initiatives.
- Adept at knowledge discovery and guiding teams to transform and convey information to various audiences.
- Fluency in verbal and written English; knowledge of Mandarin and Cantonese is a plus.
- Familiarity with JIRA/Confluence.
- Preferred certifications include PMP, CSM, PSM, ACP.
