Reports to: VFX Producer

What we are looking for:

Join our dynamic generative AI startup pioneering the future of filmmaking. The VFX Coordinator will collaborate with the VFX Producer (LA) and work closely with cross-functional teams such as Post Production, Pipeline, IO, and Film Innovation teams. Responsibilities include coordinating various projects ranging from feature films to episodic series and commercial content, utilizing Flow Production Tracking Software efficiently to maintain project timelines, and engaging effectively with teams in both US and UK locations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Flow playlists for daily review sessions across multiple projects.
  • Ensure accurate upkeep of project statuses, assignments, notes, and timelines within Flow projects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to schedule tasks and oversee the delivery of final materials.
  • Conduct review sessions with vendors and creative teams and handle day-to-day correspondence with vendors.
  • Coordinate package transfers with the Data IO team and maintain vendor contact lists.
  • Act as a liaison between vendors and internal teams, disseminating information promptly.
  • Schedule internal and external meetings, including those in varying time zones, and take detailed notes.
  • Create and manage technical support tickets with the IO and Pipeline teams and track invoices/payment statuses with accounting.

Qualifications

  • Passion for working in a technology-driven production environment.
  • Proficiency in live-action VFX workflow and tools such as Flow, RV, MediaShuttle, Excel, Google Suite, Zoom, and Jira.
  • Prior experience in film production, visual effects, editorial, or IO.
  • Basic knowledge of Davinci Resolve (editorial).
  • Strong multitasking, organization, and teamwork skills.
  • Proactive with excellent problem-solving abilities and ability to work efficiently under deadlines.
  • Familiarity with common file formats and resolutions, and knowledge of multiple languages is a bonus.
