We now have a vacancy for a Senior Video Editor to help execute this vision through content creation. This role merges artistic flair with technical skills, strategic planning with efficient execution. Responsibilities include editing trailers, designing social media assets, and leading post-production activities for various marketing initiatives—from sizzle reels to keynote visuals. Collaboration with marketing, studio, and product teams is essential to ensure each frame not only showcases visual brilliance but also contributes to a coherent narrative.

Job Duties:

Edit a wide spectrum of video content spanning social media clips, trailers, tutorials, behind-the-scenes footage, client testimonials, and content demonstrating thought leadership.

Manage the post-production phase from initial ingest to final release—managing editing, sound mixing, color correction, and overall finishing touches.

Work collaboratively across teams to brainstorm ideas, create storyboards, and refine the overall creative direction.

Strike a balance between speed and quality, delivering speedy results without compromising on excellence.

Supervise external editors or motion designers as requested, offering clear guidance and constructive feedback.

Desired Skills:

Extensive editing experience (5+ years) in professional settings, preferably within film, technology, or agency environments.

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and After Effects, complemented by a strong grasp of Avid and DaVinci Resolve.

Expertise in tailoring content for various platforms including web, social media, commercials, and out-of-home ads, adjusting pacing and visuals accordingly.

Job Requirements:

The role of Pipeline Technical Director involves supporting users in utilizing 3rd party DCC's such as Nuke, as well as proprietary Flawless products. Responsibilities include addressing application issues, integrating DCC apps into pipelines, developing tools for content ingestion and delivery, and maintaining Python scripts to streamline workflows efficiently.

The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of film post-production, proficiency in Python programming, familiarity with Linux systems, and experience in software lifecycle management. Further qualifications that would be advantageous include knowledge of production management systems like ShotGrid, and experience with film image pipeline libraries.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Providing user support for 3rd Party DCC’s like Nuke and DaVinci Resolve.

Overseeing proprietary Flawless products and pipeline.

Identifying and resolving application issues by working closely with relevant product teams.

Continuously improving the integration of DCC apps within the pipeline.

Developing tools for content ingestion and delivery.

Creating and managing Python scripts to optimize workflow efficiency.

Supporting media and asset management across the pipeline utilizing cloud-based infrastructure.

Establishing and maintaining support workflows to address recurring issues effectively.

Qualifications:

In-depth understanding of film post-production pipelines.

Proficiency in Python programming.

Awareness of security protocols for handling sensitive media content.

Experience working with Linux systems.

Demonstrated proficiency in managing software lifecycle, production releases, and version control.

Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and debugging skills in a production environment.

Previous experience in a support capacity.

Ability to communicate technical issues effectively to creative users.

Familiarity with production/content management systems and versioning tools such as ShotGrid and Ftrack.

Experience using common film image pipeline libraries such as OTIO, OIIO, and OCIO.

Competency in DCC-specific APIs like Nuke and Resolve.

You will report to the Sr. Visual Dubbing Supervisor.

Responsibilities Include:

Handle media ingestion and project setup following established organizational protocols, with expertise in industry standard file formats like ProRes, EXR, DPX, and TIFF sequences.

Supervise visual dubbing projects and address team requirements effectively.

Collaborate closely with the Production Lead to ensure timely project deliveries and adherence to quality standards.

Develop a comprehensive understanding of the visual dubbing pipeline to troubleshoot issues and offer technical support.

Conduct quality checks and approve each stage of the visual dubbing process.

Coordinate with supervisors in the UK and US to streamline processes and tasks across global teams.

Proficient in Davinci Resolve for editing, compositing, and color workflow.

Proficient in utilizing G-Suite, particularly Google Sheets with advanced technical skills.

Proficient in using ShotGrid/Flow for shot-by-shot task management.

Deliver industry standard file formats for digital intermediate and broadcasting as necessary, including HDR, Dolby Vision, and various ACES color workflows.

Ability to conform extended timelines and apply VFX comp fixes and color adjustments where needed in DaVinci Resolve.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years' experience in TV/animation/film post-production pipelines.

At least 3 years of experience as a VFX editor, assistant editor, or online editor.

Previous leadership experience of at least 2 years.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 annually
