VFX Jr Producer

Primary Responsibilities:

As a Junior VFX Producer at our cutting-edge generative AI startup, you will collaborate closely with our VFX Producer in LA, as well as with Post Production, Pipeline, IO, and Film Innovation teams. In this role, you will oversee various projects including feature films, episodic series, and commercial content. Your key responsibilities will involve coordinating multiple projects simultaneously, managing vendors, and ensuring efficient communication across US and UK teams.

Key Requirements:

• Facilitate review sessions with creative teams and vendors
• Document notes and effectively communicate feedback from Supervisors, Producers, and Directors to Vendors and Artists
• Manage daily correspondence with vendors
• Coordinate sending and receiving vendor packages in collaboration with the Data IO team
• Serve as a liaison between vendors and internal teams, ensuring timely information dissemination
• Work closely with artist teams to uphold resource and time management
• Collaborate with Producer/VFX Supervisors/IO teams to schedule tasks and ensure timely final material delivery
• Arrange meetings across multiple time zones
• Collect and manage vendor bids and invoices
• Track shots from turnover to delivery using Flow and internal spreadsheets

Qualifications:

• Passion for working in a dynamic, technology-driven production environment
• Comprehensive understanding of VFX workflow, processes, and pipelines
• Proficiency in tools like Flow (Shotgrid), RV, MediaShuttle, Excel, Google Suite, Zoom, Jira
• Prior experience in film production, visual effects, or games
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Exceptional organizational skills, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Strong team player with effective communication skills
• Proactive in addressing and resolving issues promptly
• Ability to manage schedules effectively and provide appropriate advisement
• Knowledge of common file formats and resolutions
• Calm under pressure with the ability to multitask
• Fluency in multiple languages is a bonus

Salary: $45 - $50 per hour
