Your Responsibilities
As the trusted Global Editor-In-Chief, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will lead the strategy, planning, research, and creation of premier global marketing content to inspire and engage our audience. With a deep understanding of the crypto industry and a passion for Circle's potential to revolutionize the exchange of value, your objective is to align our marketing content with business goals and oversee its execution.
You will leverage your expertise to drive global adoption of Circle's products, particularly USDC and Web3 Services, through collaboration with internal teams such as Product, Product Marketing, Policy & Corporate Communications, Investor Relations, and Business Development. Your proven approach ensures effective prioritization, exceptional articulation, and measurable engagement across all marketing content, regardless of format or audience. With an ability to thrive in a fast-paced global environment, you are ready to adapt and reprioritize as our ecosystem evolves.
Your Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the VP, Creative Lab to develop compelling global messaging that promotes frictionless value exchange through our products and services.
- Apply creative thinking and copywriting to enhance the brand experience across various touchpoints, adapting content for different audiences.
- Lead and empower a team of 2-3 copywriters focused on creating versatile content that enables frictionless finance. Demonstrate a hands-on approach by actively participating in content creation when necessary.
- Foster open and productive communication with critical internal partners to ensure a unified approach to content marketing objectives.
- Develop an annual marketing editorial plan and thematic calendar aligned with deliverables throughout the year.
- Conduct creative reviews, provide feedback to the writing team, and manage feedback from collaborators.
- Ensure consistent tone and brand across all content and target audiences, while continuously analyzing content performance to optimize messaging impact.
- Build the capability to quickly localize content at scale to support global expansion efforts.
- Explore the use of AI to streamline content creation processes and enable higher-level thinking.

What You'll Bring to Circle
- Deep passion for digital currency and a keen interest in crypto, financial markets, and the global macroeconomy. Knowledge of the regulated financial services industry is a plus.
- 12+ years of leadership experience in content marketing for a global, internet-scale company, preferably in the fintech industry.
- Proven ability to build trust and collaborate with internal partners to prioritize content deliverables in alignment with global strategy and metrics.
- Exceptional writing skills and a player-coach mindset to remotely lead a lean content production team by example. Willingness to co-create impactful content with ecosystem partners.
- Ability to translate global strategy into actionable goals, responsible budgets, content production, and return on investment assessment, while bridging business strategy with team member needs.
- Track record of analyzing messaging impact to continuously improve content engagement.
- Familiarity with program management and tech solutions to scale processes. Proficiency in GSuite applications and other SaaS tools (such as AI, SQL, Figma, Slack, Coda, etc.).
Additional Information
- This position is eligible for day-one PERM sponsorship for qualified candidates.
- Compensation packages are crafted considering various factors, such as experience, skill set, qualifications, and business needs.
- Base Pay Range: $240,000 - $325,000
