Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Chief Business Officer, in this role, you will be pivotal in enhancing the adoption and utilization of Circle-issued stablecoins (USDC and EURC) within both the Crypto Capital Market and Traditional Finance ecosystems. You will lead a global team of Business Development and Relationship Managers to establish and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, such as market makers, OTC desks, trading institutions, asset managers, and other relevant entities. Collaborating closely with other Circle business and product leaders, your focus will be on meeting growth targets for our stablecoins across major regions worldwide.
Key Areas of Focus
Market Analysis and Strategy: Utilize your extensive experience in the Crypto Capital Market and Traditional Finance ecosystems to drive commercial deals that expand stablecoin distribution and foster key use cases like instant FX and institutional settlement credit.
Team Management: Lead and nurture a high-performance Business Development and Relationship Management team through effective recruitment, training, and mentorship.
Pipeline Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and forecast a metrics-driven pipeline of partners within the TradFi and Crypto Capital Markets ecosystems.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in capital markets, trading, and investing industries.
- Proven track record of building and leading successful sales and business development teams.
- Experience in selling Crypto/Web3, Fintech, or technology products for over 10 years.
- Comprehensive understanding of blockchain and cryptocurrency technology.
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to recruit, onboard, and consistently train staff.
- Exceptional pipeline management and revenue forecasting capabilities.
- Strong ability and passion for contributing to company processes and customer success in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information
- This position is eligible for day-one PERM sponsorship for eligible candidates.
- Compensation packages consider various factors, including experience, skill set, and qualifications. Compensation ranges may vary depending on location.
Base Pay Range: $292,500 - $335,000
Annual Bonus Target: 40%
Equity & Benefits Package: Includes medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits. As a discretionary vacation policy is in place, employees receive 10 days of paid sick leave and 11 paid holidays per year in the U.S.
