As part of the org's expansion journey, we are seeking an individual to steward technical services at our state-of-the-art 106 Rue du Temple headquarters. This position focuses on the seamless operation of the building, ensuring secure systems integration, enforcing safety protocols, and collaborating across Workplace, People, and Security teams to maintain a productive environment.

Your Role Invoves:

Technical Infrastructure Management:

  • Supervise the setup, upkeep, and optimization of building systems—from HVAC, electrical, plumbing to IT—ensuring compliance with operational standards.
  • Implement and oversee building automation systems to improve efficiency and sustainability.

Security and Safety Oversight:

  • Collaborate with the Security team to devise and enforce protective measures for the facility and occupants.
  • Guarantee compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations through regular audits and risk evaluations.

Project Management:

  • Take charge of technical projects for facility enhancements, renovations, and new systems, ensuring on-time and cost-effective completion.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and vendors to maintain Ledger's quality expectations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with various teams to align technical services with organizational strategies and employee requirements.
  • Offer technical support for event setups and organizational ventures.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring maximal efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Handle an inventory of technical assets, planning for necessary upgrades and replacements.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Keep abreast of industry developments and new technologies to suggest and implement enhancements that improve facility operations.
  • Create and implement standard operating procedures for technical services, optimizing efficiency and consistency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related technical field.
  • At least 8 years of experience managing technical services, particularly in a corporate setting within the tech industry.
  • Proficient in building systems, workplace technologies, and infrastructure management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management, with the ability to oversee multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to foster effective cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Knowledge of safety and security practices, with a dedication to upholding a secure work atmosphere.

This role is essential in ensuring the smooth and secure operation of Ledger's facilities, particularly the innovative new headquarters, to provide an optimized environment for all employees.
