The usual story: the file grew for a year, several people edited the formulas, half the numbers are typed over the calculations, the total does not match and nobody remembers why. That is exactly what I take apart.
What I do:
- Find and repair broken formulas, including the ones that show no error and simply calculate the wrong thing.
- Remove hand-typed numbers from calculated cells. This is the main reason spreadsheets lie quietly.
- Build pivot tables and reports that refresh themselves.
- Automate totals, percentages, balances and dates.
- Clean up raw exports from marketplaces, banks, CRMs and accounting software: merged headers, numbers stored as text, subtotals in the middle of the data.
You also get a short note on what was wrong and what I changed.
Scope of this gig: one spreadsheet task. A full rebuild or a dashboard is priced separately after I see the file.
