About the Role

Figment is in search of an Account Executive situated in the LATAM region to drive growth and establish a stronger presence in the area.

When considering potential team members, we prioritize authenticity, a bias for action, clear communication, leadership, and a continuous learning mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Directly report to the Head of Americas
  • Spearhead business expansion in LATAM, focusing on identifying and seizing new opportunities to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth
  • Assume oversight of Region P&L
  • Play a crucial role in supporting major regulatory and policy initiatives, ensuring compliance with local regulations
  • Act as the regional representative for Figment, engaging with media, conferences, clients, and regulators
  • Collaborate with US-based Product, Engineering, and Design teams to develop products tailored to regional client needs
  • Drive Figment's growth strategy in LATAM through Channel Partners, Direct clients, and strategic relationships within the asset management sector
  • Forge partnerships, identify M&A opportunities, and monitor market trends and competitive dynamics
  • Work closely with US teams to uphold operational excellence and maintain alignment with Figment's brand and values in the region

Qualifications

  • Proven entrepreneurial experience in leading tech or fintech sales initiatives in the LATAM market, scaling revenue to at least $100M
  • Sound knowledge of the regulated payment services and financial services landscape in LATAM, especially within fintech
  • Background in business development, particularly in the payments sector
  • Experience engaging with regulators and managing regulated businesses
  • Proficient in English & Portuguese (Spanish a plus) and adept at working in a remote-first environment
  • Familiarity with regulatory functions in financial services, including Compliance, Finance, Risk, and Audit
  • Passion for cryptocurrency, particularly staking
  • Experience in multi-national and North American businesses
  • Self-motivated individual eager to drive business growth in a rapidly evolving sector
  • Solution-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency
