AI Graphics Engineer
Genies is in search of an AI Graphics Engineer with a strong background in 3D graphics and machine learning. This position offers a unique opportunity to innovate at the intersection of advanced graphics and AI technologies. As an AI Graphics Engineer, your main responsibilities will include developing innovative solutions using your expertise in 3D graphics and machine learning. You will collaborate with technical leaders and cross-functional teams to prototype, build, and debug research-guided tools for 3D content creation. Additionally, you will implement research paper concepts, translate findings into robust and industry-leading creative technologies, and develop clean and extensible software and systems. It will be your responsibility to lead optimization efforts, enhance data and algorithms for maximum efficiency, and establish best practices and performance benchmarks within the team. Staying current with the latest research in computer graphics, machine learning, and related technologies is crucial for success in this role.
To qualify for this position, you should have at least three years of experience with real-time 3D rendering engines such as Unity, as well as two years of experience applying machine learning to 3D content generation. Strong skills in 3D math, linear algebra, computational geometry, and numerical analysis are also required. A solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and testing frameworks is necessary. Strong programming skills, particularly in C++ and other languages, are essential. Experience with 3D graphics APIs, shaders, and graphics hardware acceleration is highly desirable, along with familiarity with 3D scene description standards and compression techniques. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders are also important.
Experience with AI-driven content creation, geometric simulation and rigged character systems, working with DCCs in a production environment, and concurrent programming are excellent assets to have in this role.

The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time employees may be eligible for equity compensation and our comprehensive health, wellness, and benefits package.
The starting salary range for this position is $156,000 to $234,000 USD.
