The organization provides quantitative trading solutions for market making, trade execution, and settlement services across multiple cryptocurrency exchanges. The Algorithmic/Quant Trader will join the company during a crucial growth phase in the industry and contribute significantly to the shaping and expansion of the trading desk.

Responsibilities

• Design, operate, and enhance high-performance algorithmic trading strategies on various cryptocurrency electronic platforms.
• Manage the "trading desk" for your strategies, optimize profitability, define strategies' growth roadmap in alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate with quant developers to develop design specifications, facilitate efficient deployment of strategies, and implement risk controls in production systems.
• Coordinate with operations, clearing, and other stakeholders for seamless onboarding of new trade instruments, accurate P&L calculations, and managing funding requirements.
• Contribute to innovative liquidity projects across centralized crypto platforms and DeFi.

Requirements

• Hold a Master's or higher degree in a quantitative field like Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Possess over 8 years of experience in a similar capacity in areas such as market making firms, hedge funds, or HFT firms with a proven successful track record.
• Proficiency in market microstructure, market analysis, order books, and trade data.
• Solid experience in market making, arbitrage strategies, and familiarity with alpha signal generation.
• Strong background in quantitative modeling, ability to independently create algorithm specifications for trading strategies and collaborate effectively with developers.
• Proficient in Python and SQL programming; familiarity with C++ or Java is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
• Excellent communication skills and aptitude for teamwork in a dynamic global environment.
