Responsibilities
As an Applied Scientist Intern in the 3D Vision team at Flawless, you will collaborate closely with a dedicated team of top-tier researchers and scientists to address complex challenges in deep learning, focusing on areas like 3D reconstruction and monocular facial tracking. The team's groundbreaking work in visual dubbing is just the beginning, as they are in the process of developing numerous exciting products based on their foundational research. Requirements
- Ongoing MS or Ph.D. student in fields such as Visual Computing, Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, or 3D Vision, or related disciplines
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with linear algebra and numerical optimization
- Experience working on cloud platforms like GCP, Azure, or AWS
- Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, 2D, and 3D Vision
- Proven ability in applied research tasks including maintaining production code and datasets, creating metrics, benchmarking, and enhancing solution efficiency
- Proficiency in CV tools such as OpenCV, scikit, numpy, etc.
- Experience with differentiable rendering pipelines like PyTorch3D or Taichi Graphics, 3DMM, statistical models, and working with collaborative research teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge in Monocular 3D Facial Tracking and Generative models for face reconstruction
- Experience in developing tools at scale for multi-modal or audio-driven visual systems in AR/VR or VFX
- Proficient in C++ or CUDA, Familiarity with Transformer, CNN, and GAN architectures

Salary Range
