Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Perform in-depth analysis of on-chain and off-chain transactions, account attributes, and other relevant data to conduct thorough due diligence and risk evaluations on digital assets.
• Utilize comprehensive open-source and corporate data to enhance due diligence investigations on digital assets.
• Detect any unusual or suspicious activities associated with digital asset issuers.
• Document research activities, outlining the steps taken, sources reviewed, and final conclusions drawn.
• Collaborate with other teams to provide assistance and gather necessary information.

Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of the crypto landscape, understanding the inherent risks in the crypto sector and distinctions among L1 blockchains and L2 Protocols.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cryptocurrency investigations, corporate inquiries, or financial investigations.
• Proficiency in researching and analyzing crypto-related offenses, as well as familiarity with fraud tactics in the crypto realm.
• Demonstrated experience in researching and discerning company structures through open sources.
• Ability to trace and identify individuals using blockchain analytics tools, block explorers, and open-source intelligence.
• Strong grasp of blockchain analytics, either through existing tools or manually tracking funds efficiently via relevant block explorers.
• Expertise in open-source investigations and sound understanding of risk methodologies relating to digital assets.
• Exceptional written communication skills with the capability to convey findings clearly and concisely.
• Aptitude for analyzing large datasets and deriving meaningful conclusions efficiently.
• Strong problem-solving skills, coupled with creative thinking to reach effective solutions.

Good to have:

• Proficiency in English to engage effectively with international partners and stakeholders; knowledge of Chinese or Russian is advantageous.
• Prior experience with Dune and constructing SQL queries.
